FAQs

Is all carpet cleaning the same?  No.  Methods vary from very wet with high heat and long drying time to “dry” cleaning with carpets usable immediately after cleaning.  Like most things, somewhere closer to the middle is the best option in most situations.  National Carpet Cleaning’s proprietary “low moisture” encapsulation process offers the most benefits; cost-effective, quick drying, eco-faithful, resource efficient and favorable to a healthy work place environment!

  • How often should carpets be cleaned? Every manufacturer recommends at least annually to validate the warranty.  High traffic areas (reception, conference rooms, main entries and halls) should be done an additional time annually.  At National Carpet Cleaning we offer pre-scheduled maintenance plans reducing cost vs single hit and run cleanings.

How long before the carpets are dry?  Depends on the method used.  The dirtier the carpet the wetter it gets to get clean.  Over-wetting is the worst that can happen to carpeting.  Although our process at National Carpet Cleaning uses minimal moisture the        other parts of our service allows us to clean even the dirtiest carpets with minimal moisture.

  • What is the most cost effective way to clean carpets?  Clean them regularly.  Like with your car, preventative maintenance is cheaper than replacement.  National Carpet Cleaning’s service is good, fast and competitively priced.  We believe it is the best value for your maintenance dollar.
  • How does carpet cleaning positively affect the office environment?  At National Carpet Cleaning we include, in our proprietary process, disinfectant and deodorization agents as needed.  Along with the removal of both dry, oily bonded soils and ugly spots we kill germs and refresh the office environment.  Your workplace is cleaner and healthier.
